Mobilization Notice for the Marten Falls First Nation Community Access Road

The objectives of these surveys is to determine survival of calves from caribou (atigwag) collared during the caribou collaring field program in 2021, to gather caribou population and distribution data in the study area and to observe signs of other wildlife such as moose (moozoog), wolves (maihganang) and wolverine (wishkobishag).

If you are located in the study area, you may notice an increase in air traffic as the study area will be accessed by helicopter during this program.
