Indspire’s Building Brighter Futures: Scholarships, Bursaries & Awards program.

Indigenous students in Ontario may be eligible for financial assistance through Indspire’s Building Brighter Futures: Bursaries, Scholarships and Awards (BBF) program to assist them with their post-secondary education.

Indspire recognizes that students, especially those from Métis, Inuit and First Nations communities, may encounter additional barriers to completing their education. Through Indspire’s BBF program, students can receive financial assistance to help pay for school – whether it’s for tuition, rent, groceries, or any other expenses that come with being a student.

The BBF program continues to support Indigenous students so that they can succeed and achieve their educational goals. Since 2004, Indspire has provided over $132 million in financial support to more than 42,500 Métis, Inuit and First Nations students. The first BBF application deadline for Indspire’s 2020-2021 Building Brighter Futures: Scholarships, Bursaries, and Awards program is approaching on August 1st, 2020. Students can apply online at indspire.ca/apply.
