Scope and Responsibilities
l Hoist Operator
l Operate a double drum hoist, skipping, slinging material, shaft inspection and moving people and material as well as other duties as may be assigned
l Operate cage moving men and material
Qualifications
l Certified in the Ontario Common Core for Basic Hard Rock Mining and Shaft specialty modules or equivalent will be required
l Five years experience operating a double drum hoist
l Two years experience as a skiptender and/cagetender and/or shaft inspector
l Good communication skills both verbal and written
l A self starter who performs duties in a safe and productive manner
