Crown Land Use Atlas Harmonization (CLUAH) Wawa District

In 2006, the Ministry of Natural Resources started work on the Wawa District Crown Land Use Atlas Harmonization Project.  “The  CLUAH project is reviewing existing land use direction for unregulated provincial Crown lands and waters in the Wawa area to ensure a balance of social, economic and ecological sustainability and to reduce potential access-related conflicts in other planning processes.  Not subject to this review are the District’s system of Parks and Protected Areas (e.g. provincial parks, conservation reserves and Pukaskwa National Park), First Nation reserve lands and private lands.
