City of Thunder Bay Public Art Program

CALL TO ARTISTS  “City Pin & Promotional Graphic Design”

Local and regional artists and artist-led teams are invited to submit proposals for the design of a City pin and/or a Promotional Graphic Design that can be reproduced and applied to promotional materials distributed by the City of Thunder Bay.

Both the City Pin and Promotional Graphic Design should strongly reference the identity, geography, and culture of Thunder Bay. Neither design will replace the existing City of Thunder Bay logo, coat of arms, or other existing City imagery. Artists may provide a single design suitable for both purposes.

A maximum of two (2) proposed designs may be submitted, one (1) for the City Pin and one (1) for the Promotional Graphic Design.

Information Meeting: Wednesday, November 28, 2012 @ 10:00 a.m. at the Martin Room, City Hall, 2nd floor, 500 Donald Street East.Attendance is optional, but encouraged.

City Pin & Promotional Graphic Design – Thunder Bay, Ontario 

Eligibility: This competition is open to artists and artist-led teams living/working/going to school in Northwestern Ontario. 
Project Budget:
$2,000 all inclusive for City Pin
$2,000 all inclusive for Promotional Graphic Design

Closing Date and Time: Wednesday, January 16, 2013 @ 4:30 p.m. local time
