Scope and Responsibilities
- Ability to work with minimum direction and supervision.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all on-site mobile equipment (surface heavy equipment, underground equipment and all service vehicles).
- A self-starter who is well organized and knowledgeable in all areas of preventative maintenance.
Qualifications
- A Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic with a minimum of five (5) years of experience with heavy mining or construction equipment.
- Certified in Common Core for Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining, with a minimum of five (5) years underground experience.
- Verbal and written proficiency of the English language.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
