Market Development Coordinator (12 months)

Job Description:
Zenyatta Ventures Ltd., a junior mineral exploration company (TSXV: ZEN), is looking for a Market
Development Coordinator to support company’s market development efforts for the Albany ultra-high purity
graphite deposit project. The Coordinator will work with the VP of Market Development and senior management
to manage ongoing relationships with potential end-users, government organizations, regional communities and
other stakeholders. The position will also involve working with the team to prepare presentations for business
development meetings with prospective clients. In this role you will provide valuable mining industry support to
a very dynamic team.
Qualifications:
A graduate from an accredited Ontario university within the perspective field of study. Excellent verbal and
written communication skills. Must be self-motivated, organized, task-oriented, technically savvy, and a quick
learner. Able to work independently as well as in a team environment with team members located in multiple
geographical regions
Preferred Qualifications:
• Recent undergraduate degree, ideally in business administration, marketing commerce, finance, or
communications
• 1 – 2+ years of experience in marketing and business development and/or corporate communications
• High energy, self-starter, hard worker with strong writing, verbal and organizational skills
• Strong interest and knowledge about the financial markets
• Excellent computer skills – including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, presentation
creation, database management, etc.
• Previous exposure to the mining industry and marketing are useful
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines
• Flexible and proactive in taking on assignments and responsibilities, and willingness to learn
Eligibility for Internships:
University graduates who have graduated within the last three years from an accredited Ontario college or
university. Candidates must be graduates of post-secondary degree or diploma programs. The position must
provide the Coordinator with first time employment in their field of study. Candidates must be legally entitled to
work in Canada. It is for a 12 months (40 hours a week) period and is funded through the Northern Ontario
Heritage Fund Corporation’s Youth Internship Program. Mature graduates may be considered.
