Summary of the data:

In this letter, authored by George Simpson, on October 15, 1850, to William Benjamin Robinson, the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) offers to distribute the annuity payments payable under the Robinson-Superior Treaty, 1850 to the Aboriginal Bands in the Lake Superior region on behalf of the Government. The payments were to be made on the 1st of August ever year.

Simpson requested that the Government provide a list of names of the Native people who were eligible to be paid and if the Government could not provide this, he would take a census of the population during the upcoming winter.
